The Longmoor site is just 500m to the south west of Ashton Gate.
It will provide approximately 500 much-needed residential homes, consisting of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom units in a high-quality urban village environment.
Located at the western gateway of Bristol, Longmoor is in a highly sustainable location with the metrobus linking it directly to the city centre and Bristol Temple Meads.
It has excellent pedestrian and cycle links to Winterstoke Road, Ashton Road and North Street. The adjacent A370 provides quick access to the South Bristol Link Road, A4 Portway and the city centre.
The proposals will allow for high-quality community space interspersed between buildings to create a village atmosphere and sense of community.
The site boundary ends at the metrobus route and there will be no development on the field to the south of it, this will remain as open space.
